The Lord of the Rings™ Battle of Osgiliath is a massive new starter set and the perfect place to jump into the game. Containing everything needed to play, including two complete forces – representing Good and Evil – as well as rules, scenery, dice, and accessories, this box will give you a warm welcome into the game, and recreates one of the most epic battles from the movie trilogy. 

Inside the box you will find 54 beautifully sculpted plastic Citadel miniatures representing the Orcish armies led by Gothmog who wish to seize the vital city of Osgiliath and the city’s stoic defenders – the valiant Faramir and his beleaguered band of warriors.

Faramir and Gothmog are your armies’ leaders, and behind them are a host of mighty warriors. Madril, Captain of Ithilien; Damrod, Ranger of Ithilien; 12 Warriors of Minas Tirith and 12 Rangers of Gondor fight on the side of Good. Championing the forces of Evil, Gothmog is presented both on foot and also mounted on a savage Warg.  His furious assault on the city is backed up by 24 Morannon Orcs and a mighty Mordor Troll, all of which provides a force to be reckoned with.

The box contains a stunning set of scenery, which you can use to recreate the ruins of Osgiliath and provide cover or vantage points for your models. They will look right at home next to the existing Middle-earth™ Strategy Battle Game scenery pieces, allowing you to create epic battlefields as you add to your collection.
